Blizzard just released a new video detailing the lore behind the newest race coming to Azeroth in WoW Forever – the Skyborne!
Opinions on these blue sky elves have varied in the WoW community, with some happy to have an elven race on the Horde, and others claiming that they don’t fit the aesthetic of the Classic world. Well, this could be changing soon, as Blizzard may have just hinted at SD character models for these Skyborne Elves, with a pinned comment on the Skyborne lore video!
Blizzard has already responded to player feedback and adjusted some NPC models on the WoW Forever beta to better fit the vibe of the Classic world. Allowing players to experience the Skyborne story with the option of an SD model would go a long way toward helping this new race fit into the Classic world of Azeroth.
