There are a plethora of helpful addons for World of Warcraft: Forever, but if you main a Warlock, this might just be a game changer.
The DoesItDie addon is available on the Curseforge/Overwolf desktop app, making it a breeze to install. The addon shows a damage marker on an enemy health bar when you use DoTs (Damage over Time), representing the exact damage your active DoT or bleed effect has left to deal.
If your remaining DoT ticks are enough to kill the afflicted enemy without any other attacks or abilities needed, a large skull icon will appear on the enemy’s portrait or nameplate. The addon learns in real time when it comes to estimating damage calculations by tracking your actual DoT damage, spell power, and talent points.
There is also an option to toggle on Damage Text, which can display the remaining total DoT damage as a numeric value next to the enemy health bar. This is especially helpful for those who are more keen on watching numbers fly, rather than just a bar on top of a bar.
This is not just for Warlocks to use, however, as Shadow Priests, Druids, Rogues, and Mages can benefit from the addon as well. It was created primarily for DoT-heavy classes, making it versatile for many classes to use.
If you’re looking for an addon that tracks it all, you can also take a look at the newest addition to the Icy Veins app, the Warchive addon!
