Today’s episode of the WoW Forever: The Podcast is live today, with new information coming about the upcoming Phase 2 of the WoW Forever Beta, scheduled to come live later today.
Josh Greenfield, lead for WoW Forever, tweeted about a minor correction to the information shown in the podcast: The City of Dalaran dungeon is not available in this week’s WoW Forever build, with Excavation Site: Wetlands being the only new Forever dungeon available in this build.
Greenfield has also stated that the City of Dalaran dungeon will be tested in a future build, which should assuage player worries about no extra builds happening after today’s level cap increase.
What is Excavation Site: Wetlands?
Excavation Site: Wetlands is a new dungeon coming to WoW Forever. It is tuned towards levels 26-33 players and as the name says, it is located in the Wetlands, with its entrance located in the Thelgen Rock area.
Not much is known about this dungeon at the moment, besides the fact that it is an outdoor dungeon based on the Whelgar’s Excavation Site area (so expect plenty of dinosaurs!), and it has four boss encounters. We will announce more information once we’re able to run the dungeon!
