Blizzard has extended WoW Forever Beta by one day! Instead of shutting down on Oct 22, it now closes for good tomorrow, Friday, Oct 23, at 10:00 AM PDT (19:00 CEST).
Four days after Beta ends, early name reservation will open on Oct 27, giving players the option to reserve up to 3 character slots per Battle.net account.

WoW Forever Early Name Reservation Start Times
Name reservations will run from October 27 to November 3, with each region opening at a different time.
Keep in mind Europe switches from summer time on October 25 (the upcoming Sunday), so the EU opening is 18:00 CET, not CEST…

Who’s Eligible for Early Name Reservations?
Only players who pre-purchase the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or Warcraft Forever Collection will have access to early name reservations. Eligible players can create and reserve names for up to 3 characters total across all rulesets. This means that if you create 2 on a PvP ruleset, you will only be able to create 1 more char in a Normal/RP ruleset. This limitation only applies to early name reservations.
On top of that, you must also preload the client before the reservations start and follow these steps outlined by Blizzard.
Prepare to Launch
- Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
- Download and install the Battle.net desktop app
- Open the Battle.net desktop app and allow it to update if needed.
- Select World of Warcraft from the list of games.
- In the Game Version menu above the Play button, select World of Warcraft: Forever, then select Install.
- Once installation is complete select Play and choose your Ruleset.
- Create up to 3 characters with your chosen name.
Choose the names that will carry your heroes into a new age and prepare for your adventures in World of Warcraft: Forever.
