WoW Forever Player Just Knocked an Orgrimmar Flight Master Into Orbit

WoW Forever players have found a new way to cause chaos in Azeroth.

Streamer Barny recently showed off Booty Bay Bruiser’s Buckshot, a novelty weapon she picked up after grinding reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers. The gun might look like a fun little cosmetic toy, but its knockback effect appears to have some… unexpected interactions!

While testing it in Orgrimmar yesterday, Barny discovered that the weapon can knock back friendly players and NPCs. Naturally, she decided to see what would happen if she tried it on one of the city’s flight masters.

After firing the weapon at the NPC, the flight master catapulted away very cinematically. Barny quickly realised what had happened and joked that she had effectively shut down flights leaving Orgrimmar until an admin could log in and sort things out.

The discovery could also become a bit of a problem if the interaction works consistently. If players can repeatedly make flight masters disappear by shooting them with the Buckshot, it’s easy to imagine Forever players turning it into their favourite new way of causing chaos.

This interaction is a harmless beta bug, but Booty Bay Bruiser’s Buckshot has just earned itself a spot in the hall of fame for bugs. It’s only a matter of time before Blizzard stops players from using the weapon to send Azeroth’s flight masters into the void!
