Nullaeus on Tier ?
We have a breakdown of what to do on Nullaeus on Tier?. We also have a video below:
Nullaeus repeats most of his abilities throughout the fight. In addition, the fight has three intermissions that introduce a wave of adds, and new abilities for you to contend with.
Nullaeus has the following abilities that repeat throughout the entire fight:
Emptiness of the Void: A deadly Shadow damage cast. This cast must be interrupted at all times.
Devouring Essence: A cast that leaves you with a Shadow damage DOT for 20 seconds.
Your Valeera setup is heavily dependent on how you want to deal with these two abilities. DPS Valeera has a kick, Healer Valeera has an interrupt. We recommend Healer Valeera overall, as fewer classes have access to dispels, and Nullaeus still does significant melee damage.
Nullaeus will enter his intermissions at 75%, 50%, and 25%. The intermissions last either 30 seconds or until all the adds summoned by Nullaeus are dead, whichever happens first. Each intermission summons different adds and gives Nullaeus a new ability that lasts for the entire fight:
- At 75%, Nullaeus summons two Razorshell Ravagers, which have a leap and a bleed. In addition, Nullaeus gains access to
Null Zone, which constantly covers part of the arena with shadow that deals damage when stepped on. - At 50%, Nullaeus summons seven Spitting Ticks, which leave a stacking DOT on melee attacks. Nullaeus gains access to
Gravity Well, an orb that constantly moves through the room and will pull you in to deal heavy damage if you’re close to it. - At 25%, Nullaeus summons one Enslaved Voidcaster, which casts a Shadow Bolt that can be mostly interrupted, and a Shadow Crash that deals heavy damage if in the area. Nullaeus also gains access to
Umbral Rage, a stacking damage increase. This is a soft enrage for the fight.
