During the post-BlizzCon Q&A, we got some exciting news for the next Remix! Among the standard Remix features like infinitely scaling M+ dungeons, invasion-like outbreaks and similar, we also got word in a new system coming to Wrath of the Lich King! There’s also apparently a large amount of unreleased item appearances, on top of the new ones they’ll be adding to the expansion’s Remix.
Death Knight Tools for Everyone
The Death Knight Runeforging feature is spreading to every class! It seems the Hearthstone artwork of every class raised in the Scourge prompted the idea, and now it’s blossomed into a full-fledged system. That was about all we got in terms of details. But it’s easy to imagine the sorts of buffs and additions classes might get based on what DKs get. Blizzard will be sharing more information next year.
A Modern Take on Mounts
Also quickly mentioned was that WotLk mounts will be getting a “modern take”, with Invincible called out in particular! It seems the iconic mount is getting a makeover and will be one of the rewards for Remix activities! Considering the base Invincible is also presumably going to be much more gettable than it is now, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Other mounts will also see new versions, so let’s see what the new Mimiron’s Head looks like.
