BlizzCon 2026 is right around the corner, and Blizzard have confirmed we’ve got a lot to be excited about!
Recently, Psybear_tv interviewed Senior Game Director, Ion Hazzikostas, and Associate Game Director, Paul Kubit, about everything retail WoW. They discussed class balancing and redesign, Titanforged servers, Mythic+ changes and more.
But perhaps more excitingly, Blizzard have given us a teaser of what we will be seeing at BlizzCon 2026 in September.
What’s New for WoW at BlizzCon?
Blizzard has confirmed that the team will discuss the following elements of WoW’s future:
- Patch 12.1.5 – Confirmed to be testable on the PTR before BlizzCon
- Patch 12.1.7 – More details will be shared about what we can expect in this patch
- Patch 12.2 – Looking further in the future at what’s to come in the next cycle of patches
- Beyond Patch 12.2 – The team also plans to discuss the longer-term future of Retail WoW
