Midnight has introduced the new Devourer specialisation, and with that, Void Elf Demon Hunters. Blizzard tends to keep things fair between Alliance and Horde, especially when it comes to faction gains and important class/race combinations. Now players are speculating what the Horde can expect in return.
Blood Elf Druids – The Evidence
Whilst Blood Elf Druids sound like an outrageous concept, there is actually some evidence to back this option up.
As noticed by @Portergauge on X, quest chains involving the Farstriders talk about spirits of the forest, who helped heal Eversong Woods from the damage done by the Scourge.
@Choasi17 then builds on this, stating this could be a plausible theory as to how they cleaned fel-contaminated lakes and rivers. Whilst the Light is powerful, they speculated that without Life and nature magic, this would be difficult.
Blood Elves are known to be less-than-accepting of outsiders. The thought of other Druid races aiding them seems even more outlandish than Blood Elf Druids themselves.
Of course, nothing is confirmed. Plenty of other race/class combo requests are floating around. From Nightborne Demon Hunters to Night Elf Paladins, Blood Elf Druids are looking the most likely!
