It’s that time again, non-meta friends! Raider.IO just announced their Midnight Season 1 Break the Meta event, complete with brand new shenanigans in the form of Bounties. Whether you’re a casual player looking to complete a few +10s for the exclusive toy, or a die-hard Mythic+ fan hoping to jump right to the top of your spec leaderboard, Break the Meta offers event and prizing opportunities for every kind of gamer!
NEW Bounties System
Alongside the standard participation rewards and the usual Break the Meta prizes, Raider.IO is giving players a whole lot more to play for this season! Every day during Break the Meta, a new Bounty will open, encouraging players to break even FURTHER outside the box in their pursuit of Mythic+ greatness. The leaderboard-topping team at the end of each 24-hour Bounty period will win that day’s prize. And, in an extra twist, the NA, EU and KR/TW leaderboards will all share one single Bounty leaderboard, with only ONE winning team at the end of each day!

Event Details
Those players wanting to secure only the Umbral Champion’s Illustrious Banner toy must complete TWO (2) BTM-eligible dungeons at a +10 or higher during BTM week. A “BTM-eligible dungeon” is a Midnight Season 1 dungeon completed IN TIME, with each member of the group playing an eligible BTM spec.
This exclusive toy was previously only rewarded to participants in Midnight Season 1’s World of Warcraft esports events, the MDI Time Trials and AWC Qualifiers; now Raider.IO’s Break the Meta event is the final time players will have access to the banner this season!
As always, each BTM-eligible spec will also have its own competitive leaderboard in all four participating regions (North America, Europe, Korea/Taiwan, and China). Players with the highest Mythic+ score in each region will receive 60 days of game time.
Furthermore, every BTM-eligible dungeon completed during BTM week, regardless of key level, grants players one entry into the raffle for a special BTM Prize Bundle. Each dungeon completed grants an additional entry. Players MUST Live-Track their keys with the Raider.IO Desktop App in order for their keys to be eligible for this bundle, and much of the other prizing, so we recommend downloading that feature before you get started!
