With the race won, Liquid’s GM Max went into his usual analysis mode of the fight and race. Luckily for us, that includes going over the damage on the boss, phase by phase, with some solid commentary on top! Liquid had a big leap in damage for their kill, going from a 15%ish best to the actual kill, without anything in between. The kill took them 307 pulls and they did it with an average item level of 326.07.
First off, let’s take a look at some screenshots, so you don’t have to pause too much.
It’s unsurprising to see the Assassination Rogues at the top, with the two damage amplification heart phases so prominent in the damage profile. The fight has a lot of cleave as well, with the add spawns, and some solid AoE phases with the eggs.
