The Midnight expansion is adding a variety of new mount types. Stormrays are native to Voidstorm, and a new variation of the popular Nether Ray mount model from Burning Crusade!
We’re previewing all Stormray models players can obtain in Midnight, along with a datamined model.
Stormray Mounts Available in Midnight
The 
Augmented Stormray has a chance to drop from rares in Voidstorm. Voidstorm rares have a daily reset, so plenty of chances for this mount.
The Voidbound Stormray is one of the rewards from The Singularity, one of the main Renown factions in Midnight. Learn to obtain this mount, as well as other rewards, in our dedicated Singularity Renown Guide.
The Lab-grown Stormray is a reward from the achievement 
Staring Into The Void, which requires you to fully unlock the Research Console in Voidstorm. This is a machine developed by the Singularity to give you buffs while in the zone, and you can also read about them in our Singularity Renown Guide.
Datamined Stormray Model Variant
The model highlighted below is a variant of the Stormray mount model that does not include mount items or are otherwise unavailable at Midnight launch. This model will likely be included later in the expansion.
Both Nether Rays and Storm Rays are some of the more alien creatures added to World of Warcraft, and it is nice to see them back in the spotlight in Midnight. Will you be farming any of these mounts when the expansion launches?
