The Singularity Renown Guide

Renown is shared between all members of your Warband in the Midnight expansion. All current Renown reputations in Midnight cap out at Renown 20. You can continue earning Renown past 20, receiving a Paragon Bag for your efforts.

Midnight Renown Overview

How to Increase Renown with The Singularity

You can increase your Renown Guide with the faction by participating in the following tasks in Midnight:

Completing World Quests and Special Assignments in Voidstorm;
Completing World Quests in any Midnight zones while under the effects of Contract: The Singularity;
Completing main storylines and side quests in Voidstorm;
Killing rare mobs in Voidstorm, once/week per rare;
Participating in the Stormarion Assault World Event and completing the weekly quest Stand Your Ground;
Opening Bountiful Caches in Delves;
Completing the dungeon weekly quests in Silvermoon.

You can find your current Renown standing with the faction by accessing the Journeys menu (default keybind: Shift + J) and accessing the Midnight expansion option from there.

The Singularity Quartermaster

Void Researcher Anomander is the quartermaster for The Singularity renown. He is located on the eastern portion of the Howling Ridge (Voidstorm).

The Singularity Contract

Contract: The Singularity Icon Contract: The Singularity is an item from Inscription that you can use every week. It grants your whole Warband additional reputation while completing World Quests in Quel'Thalas.

The Singularity Achievement

The Singularity Champion Icon The Singularity Champion is received upon reaching rank 20 with the faction. It grants credit towards the Midnight renown meta-achievement ( Midnight Diplomat Icon Midnight Diplomat).

The Singularity Renown Rewards

The following Renown rewards are available for the faction.

2	Unavoidable Discoveries: You may now use the Research Console in Voidstorm after competing the quest "Researching the Storm". Concentrated Power: You may purchase a ilvl180 Gloves from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge Requires Level 81.
3	Filling the Void I: Yoy may now purchase Void Elf Throne, Cosmic Void Table and Void Elf Barrel from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Samples of the Void: You may now collect Uncontaminated Void Sample to further your research at the Research Console in Voidstorm.
4	Singularity Attire I: You may purchase Shawl of the Darkened Collapsed Star, Shawl of the Gilded Collapsed Star and Shawl of the Nebulous Collapsed Star from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Domanaar Bounty I: Speak with Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge to receive a handful of Voidlight Marl.
5	Filling the Void II: You may now purchase Sturdy Void Elf Trunk and Cosmic Chalice from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Professions of the Voidstorm: You may purchase profession recipes from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
6	Stormarion Spoils: You may now collect Stormarion Core from rare enemies in Voidstorm.
7	Power of the Voidstorm: You may now purchase a Veteran-level Trinket from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Requires Level 90.
8	Filling the Void III: You may now purchase Dark Void Inkwell, Void Elf Table and Cosmic Void Orb from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
9	Voidspire Hidden Knowledge: You may purchase Profession Knowledge books for Alchemy, Blacksmithing and Engineering from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Stashes of the Voidstorm: Treasures found in the Voidstorm may now also contain a small quantity of Stormarion Cores.
10	Fine Fashion Funding: Speak with Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge to receive Finery Funds. These can be used to purchase a cosmetic ensemble from Andra at the Bazaar in Silvermoon City. Singularity Attire II: You may now purchase Tabard of the Darkened Collapsed Star, Tabard of the Gilded Collapsed Star and Tabard of the Nebulous Collapsed Star from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
11	Stormarion Defense: You may now deploy Shadowtrade Mercenaries during Stormarion Assaults.
12	Filling the Void IV: You may now purchase Ornate Void Elf Banner, Void Elf Floating Lantern and Cosmic Void Ashwell from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Charity of the Void: You may now collect additional Stormarion Cores from rare enemies in Voidstorm.
13	Abundance in the Void: Void-Touched spoils in Voidstorm will now have additional rewards.
14	Creeping Friend: You may now purchase the Blitzcreek battle pet from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Domanaar Bounty II: Speak with Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge to receive a handful of Voidlight Marl.
15	Singularity Attire III: You may now purchase Pauldrons of the Darkened Collapsed Star, Pauldrons of the Gilded Collapsed Star and Pauldrons of the Nebulous Collapsed Star from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
16	At the Nexus of Tomfoolery: You may purchase the Enigmatic Fountain toy from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Generosity of the Void: You may now collect additional Stormarion Cores from treasures in Voidstorm.
17	Running from the Void: You may now purchase the Ravenous Shredclaw ground mount from Void Resercher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
18	Filling the Void V: You may now purchase Cosmic Void Crate, Cosmic Void Summoning Crystal and Cosmic Void Training Dummy from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge. Domanaar Bounty III: Speak with Void Resercher Anomander at the Howling Ridge to receive a handful of Voidlight Marl.
19	Touching the Dark Sky: You may now purchase the Voidbound Stormray flying mount from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.
20	To Infinity and Beyond the Void: You may bear the title "The Singular" to honor your contributions to The Singularity. Armored Cores: You may now purchase Stormarion Cores from Void Researcher Anomander at the Howling Ridge.

Research Console in Voidstorm

One of the systems unlocked by the Singularity Renown is the Research Console. The Singularity is researching the cosmic forces that are keeping the Voidstorm together, and you can help their research. In exchange, you will gain temporary buffs while doing activities in Voidstorm.

You will first unlock the Research Console at Renown 2 with the Singularity, after completing the quest Researching the Storm. This quest familiarizes you with the system and gives you your first Uncontaminated Void Sample Icon Uncontaminated Void Sample, used to power up the console.

After this, you will receive an Uncontaminated Void Sample every week, after completing the weekly quest Research Console: Exploring the Void, which requires completing 3 World Quests in Voidstorm.

Obtaining all perks in the Research Console awards the achievement Staring Into The Void Icon Staring Into The Void, which awards the mount Lab-Grown Stormray.

Research Console Perks

There are a total of 7 perks you can obtain from the Research Console in Voidstorm. These perks include a powerful buff and defense camps that provide a powerful defensive buff.

Research Perk	Description
Amassing Voidlust	Harness the violent energy that permeates the Voidstorm, occasionally triggering a power suffusion of cosmic energy. When embraced, the energy erupts in a state called Voidlust. Voidlust: Become infused with ambient Void energies. Critical Strike chance increased by 25%. Leech increased by 5%. Movement Speed increased by 10%.
Protocol of Predation	Increase the intensity of your Voidlust episodes while fighting enemies within Voidstorm.
Protocol of Violence	Increase the frequency of experiencing Voidlust while fighting enemies within Voidstorm.
Protocol of Sustenance	Increase the duration of your Voidlust episodes by 200% while fighting enemies within Voidstorm.
Defense Network	Further integration between Domanaar technology and Void Elf magic enables the construction of Defense Points around the zone.
Forward Positions	Use the console to locate safe locations across Voidstorm where Ren'dorei scouts can establish hidden camps. Resting at these camps will grant you a temporary boost to your vitality. Warmed By A Cold Fire: You have recently rested at a Ren'dorei camp. Your maximum health is increased by 20% and you regain 10% of your maximum health every 10 seconds. This effect only works in Voidstorm.
Wings of the Void	Use the Research Console to manifest a powerful mount that will accompany you throughout Voidstorm and beyond.
