We’re back to the raids with a brand new one to check out. Sporefall may only have one boss and basically the same item level as the earlier raids, but it’s getting a lot more play. Let’s dive right in.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Most Played Specs (DR,VS. MQD)
We have a big drop in Mythic since two weeks ago, when we last checked in, as the playerbase has basically halved in the old raids. This is nothing too strange for this late in the season, and there’s a brand new raid here as well, with the same maximum item level as the rest (with some free Voidforging equivalents). In terms of the specs themselves, the top two remain supreme, while Devourer has upped its game and moved two spots up into third. Retribution has dropped two spots into 6th, while Beast Mastery is still on the way up.
Sporefall
Sporefall has considerably more players jumping into it in its first week, as you can see each spec getting between 1K and 18K more players than the launch raids. The spec order is also slightly different, with Ret and BM doing a lot better, but it’s the same specs in the mix at the top, with Subtlety doing a little better as well.
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Marksmanship makes a big play for the top here as it makes a big 5-spot leap straight into first place! It’s not alone in its soaring journey, as Augmentation moved right along with it, 3 spots up in 2nd. We then have the original top 3 right under them, with Havoc behind them making a solid play as well, two up. Windwalkers make a bit of a comeback, but the bigger mover is Fire, rising 4 spots into 9th.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Things are much more standard here, as the top two hold on to their spots (for now), but we do see Marksmanship coming at them and fast, two spots up in third. Frost Mage moves past Subtlety and the Demon Hunters take down the Warlocks, as the two classes huddle together. Augmentation manages to make a splash here as well, making it into the top 10 with a massive 8-spot leap. Ret manages to move out of the gutter and into the bottom part of the middle of the pack.
Sporefall
We see a very different picture in Sporefall, as you might expect. Survival and Devourer are still going great, but Affliction and Arcane are the big outliers here. Elemental and Fury are also doing a lot better, and we even get to see Devastation Evoker in the top 10!
Individual Bosses
Lightblinded Vanguard (Voidspire)

Crown of the Cosmos (Voidspire)

Belo’ren (March on Quel’Danas)

Midnight Falls (March on Quel’Danas)

Heroic
Most Played Specs
While Mythic may have lost a lot of its playerbase, Heroic has absolutely cratered. Some specs are even down almost to a third of their players. The actual order of the specs hasn’t changed much at all, with Fury taking down Elemental, and that’s about it for the top spots.
