WoW Midnight Is Getting Four Chameleon Mounts via the Trading Post

Patch 12.1 is adding a variety of new mount types. Today, we’re looking at the adorable Leafmimics!

The Leafmimics are adorable chameleon mounts. At this point, there are four colors for them, all currently coming from the Trading Post. They do not currently have prices, which could signal changes in how to obtain them in the future.

Leafmimic Mounts Available in Patch 12.1

Here are all the Leafmimic mounts available for the patch. Unlike other mount previews, all four colors have a source, so no model is left behind!

Crested Aqua Leafmimic mount.
The Aqua Leafmimic is a rare sight indeed. Found only in the forests of Ashenvale, its darkened scales allow it to hide among the trees and groves undetected.

Crested Burnished Leafmimic iconCrested Burnished Leafmimic

Crested Burnished Leafmimic mount.
This sturdy Leafmimic can be found only in the warmest of areas. Its red scales allow it to hide undiscovered in the heated alcoves it prefers.

Crested Verdant Leafmimic
Found primarily in areas with dense vegetation, this Leafmimic is rarely spotted due to the natural hues of its scales, allowing it to blend in with its surroundings.

Crested Violet Leafmimic iconCrested Violet Leafmimic

Crested Violet Leafmimic mount.
The Violet Leafmimic can be found in most dense jungles — but only if your eyesight is keen. The patterns on their scales allow them to blend in with the vibrant foliage and shadows.

Chameleon mounts are some of the rarer mount archetypes in WoW, so it is nice to see more being added! Will you purchase any of these?
