Here is How to Skip the Infamous Wetlands Death Run in WoW Forever

The Wetlands Death Run has been uniting Alliance players of all races in their anxiety about high-level crocodiles – but that will be a thing of the past, at least in WoW Forever. During a BlizzCon panel last weekend, Blizzard announced that players will no longer have to run through Wetlands to reach Ironforge or Darkshore.

The New Auberdine-Stormwind Harbor Connection

With WoW Forever, several new boat routes will be added. For the Alliance, that results in the brand-new Stormwind Harbor, as pointed out by MrGM on X:

From there, boats will travel directly to Auberdine and back, giving all Alliance races easy access to low-level zones and capitals!

Southshore and Steamwheedle Get New Connections Too

In addition to the new two-stop Stormwind-Auberdine route and the longer three-stop Menethil Harbor-Southshore-Auberdine route, Blizzard stated that players can travel between continents from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris to the new Riverglades zone.

Despite the welcome quality-of-life change, we’ll certainly miss the old Wetlands Death Run. Will you take the boat, or brave the Wetlands one more time for nostalgia’s sake?
