Patch 12.0.5 brought something that has transmog hunters especially excited: the Void recolours of the classic tier 2 sets. But there’s one detail that makes the hype even stronger.
The Void tier 2 sets respect armour-type restrictions, but they are not class-bound.
This is the second time we’ve seen historically class-bound sets now becoming class agnostic, with the tier sets from Legion Remix starting off the trend. Whilst this is a big win for flexibility, it does raise some questions regarding class identity. Should a Warrior be able to wear the iconic Judgement Paladin set, or is this something that should be reserved solely for the Knights of the Silver Hand?
