Patch 12.0.7 launches next week, bringing the Omnium Folio, Heroic World Tier, Showdowns, and the new Mythic Flex raid: Sporefall. But if you’re still trying to squeeze as much as you can out of the final days of 12.0.5, here are a few things worth doing—and a few things that probably aren’t worth your time.
Save Your Currencies
Field Accolades are going nowhere in 12.0.7, with Tier 6 Ritual Sites and Showdowns offering the currency as a reward—and the update also brings new ways to spend these currencies! Next week, Field Accolades can be exchanged for specific item slot Hero gear (750 Field Accolades), and Warbound Champion gear boxes (100 Field Accolades).
Don’t exchange your 
Dark Particles! 12.0.7 introduces new Field Pouches, offering a way more reliable way of obtaining the Lost Armament weapons rewarded from Void Incursions. You can check out the weapons on offer here!
Finish Unlocking Ritual Site Challenges
The new Tier 6 Ritual Sites require six active challenges. If you haven’t completed the quest chains that unlock those challenges yet, now is the time. Waiting until 12.0.7 launches means you’ll first need to go back and complete older unlock requirements before you can access the new highest difficulty.
Prepare Your Alts!
If you’re looking to level your alts in 12.0.7 (here’s why we highly recommend it), you can prepare by completing your Delver’s Call quests now—but hold off on turning in until 12.0.7 launches as these quests are seeing substantial experience buffs.
Being ready to turn these in will give your characters a nice head start once the patch goes live, but if you want to maximise your time even more, hold off on handing in until Turbulent Timeways on 30th June for an extra 30% XP buff!
Don’t Bother Hoarding
If you’ve been sitting on 
Nebulous Voidcores waiting for future opportunities to spend them, 12.0.7 is already adding new ways to earn them. The quest, Sporefall: Rotmire, rewards one Nebulous Voidcore, while new Ritual Site quests also offer opportunities to earn the reward.
Because new sources are being added, there’s less reason to stockpile!
Don’t Rush To Level This Week
Leveling characters right now isn’t particularly efficient. However, Patch 12.0.7 is bringing multiple XP improvements and additional catch-up opportunities, alongside Turbulent Timeways, making next week a much better time to level your alts! In short: save your currencies, finish your Ritual Site unlocks, and let your alts wait one more week—your future self will thank you when 12.0.7 arrives.
