It’s Liquid once again! Today saw a pitched battle over the fate of the Venomous Abyss. Echo moved into a huge lead earlier this EU evening, getting the boss down to 1%. However, Liquid woke up and immediately switched into high gear, rushing past their 30% best of the previous day and straight across the finish line.
Ula’tek Down
This race has been a very strange one, with a very, very long gearing up process during the first week. This saw all the top guilds not even enter Mythic for quite a while, which meant they didn’t do any progress on the actual bosses. The raid itself was also quite hard at first, with all bosses getting significant nerfs, especially the later ones. All this meant that we saw the third week of racing for the first time since the Sepulcher of the First Ones, the final raid of Shadowlands.
Echo, Liquid and Method have been very close the entire race, with the latter only slightly dropping off towards the end. Liquid seemed to struggle on Ula’tek yesterday, with a lot of pulls not making it into Phase 3 at all. But today they completely changed tune, pushing past P3 and right into the kill.
