Starting today, the Winds of Mysterious Fortune is available on live servers and if you’re smart with stacking buffs, you can boost your XP gains by up to +105%!
The XP event lines-up perfectly with the ongoing Collector’s Bounty event, which means you can level up alts fast just for the sake of clearing Legacy raids for rare mounts!
XP from the Winds of Mysterious Fortune Buff
From July 15 through August 12, the 
Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff increases XP gains by up to 30%, Dragonflight reputation gains by 200% and The War Within reputation gains by 100%!
Yes, you’ve read that right. While the buff provides you with 20% XP there’s also a potion you can loot from the satchels that will grant you an additional 10% XP, for a total of 30%.
XP from Turbulent Timeways
Turbulent Timeways provides players with 
Knowledge of Timeways, a stacking buff that increases XP when killing monsters and completing quests by 5% per stack. Completing more Timewalking dungeons increases the effect and also extends its duration. After four applications, it transforms into 
Mastery of Timeways, increasing XP gains from killing monster and completing quests to 30%.
Warbands XP Bonus
For every character you have at Level 80, you will enjoy an additional 5% XP buff, stacking up to 25% times. This means if you have 5 Level 80 characters, you will be raking in a +25% XP bonus from 
Five Warband Mentors: The War Within.
War Mode Bonus
With War Mode enabled you will receive +10% XP and Gold. If you are getting ganked too much, it may be worth just disabling War Mode, and just scrap the 10% from it. You can enable War Mode in any capital city, such as Orgrimmar, Stormwind, or Dornogal, when you open the Specialization & Talents pane by pressing ‘N’, and clicking on the War Mode toggle.
Draught of the Ten Lands Potion
Draught of Ten Lands increases XP gains by 10% for 1 hour but only works on characters level 49 and below. You can just buy it in the Auction House.
Darkmoon Faire Buff (Conditional)
Darkmoon Faire will be back starting August 3, which means you can utilize the 
WHEE! buff. This increases Experience and Reputation by 10% and lasts for 1 hour! This buff obviously stacks with all the other buffs mentioned in this post.
Big XP Breakdown
Let’s do the math now. Here are all the XP buffs you can currently get on live servers to level up fast:
- +30% XP from Winds of Mysterious Fortune
- +5-30% from Turbulent Timeways buff
- +5-25% XP from Warband bonus
- +10% XP from War Mode
- +10% XP from Draught of Ten Lands (applies to chars below Level 49)
Starting August 3, there’s another +10% XP from Darkmoon Faire.
