World of Warcraft: Forever (aka Classic+) is finally official. At launch, Forever will include three new zones, revamped existing areas, more than 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons, two new raids, a new battleground, and a new playable race: Skyborne.
During the Forever reveal cinematic, we got our first look at the Skyborne, and the mysterious sky kingdom they inhabit. Blizzard haven’t revealed everything about them just yet, but their appearance suggests that they could be one of the biggest additions to Forever’s alternate take on Azeroth.
The Skyborne can be Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, or Druids, with Horde Skyborne able to choose Shaman, and Alliance Skyborne getting Mage. Skyborne will also have a wide range of customisations, including new Druid forms!
However, if you want to play the new race, you’ll have to purchase the Skyborne Heroic Pack for World of Warcraft: Forever. At $29.99/€29.99, the Skyborne Heroic pack includes access to the new race and their starting zone, an exclusive ground mount, transmog set, Shen’dorei Windwell toy, Skyborne housing decor, and early name reservation before the game launches on 4th November 2026.
