The pre-tuning week already has plenty of changes to the standings, at least when it comes to the performance. Popularity is very stable for the raids, and now the most played spec has also become the best-performing one!
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Most Played Specs
The spec popularity seems well and truly set (at least until this week’s round of class tuning), as the only changes in the top 10 are to the final 3 spots, where Elemental, Balance, and Fury are waging war. The Shaman has come out on top this week, with the Warrior dropping to 10th. The top 3 specs are getting around a thousand extra players each, growing their popularity, but there’s an increase in Mythic players overall, even getting the very sad (and soon buffed) Mages at the bottom a few hundred extra players!
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Frost takes back its ancient throne from Survival, but just barely, as the Hunter and DK are neck-and-neck. Windwalker proves it wasn’t just a flash in the pan, as it holds on to 3rd, but Marksmanship is coming for it, rising two spots in 4th. Frost Mage is also on the rise, also gaining two spots, joined by Subtlety right behind it. While Demonology might be down a couple of spots, at least its dowing a lot better than Destruction, which drops a whopping 10 down into 14th. Demon Hunters gather and rise together, with Devourer on top, and Arms closes out the top 10.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Frost DK takes over the generalist bracket as well, and we see Subtlety doing much better here, rising one into 3rd. Windwalkers aren’t quite as high as in the top percentiles, dropping three spots into 9th, leaving Marksmanship to rise all the way to 5th. Unholy is still sticking around here as well, actually rising two spots into 7th this week.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
We have some solid class grouping at the top here, as the DKs remain on top and Assassination is joined by Subtlety to make it a double red, double yellow top 4.

We have to go all the way down to 9th for the first shift here, where Shadow pushes past Balance for the penultimate top 10 spot.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
The Heroic hart is much more stable than the Mythic, with the top 5 remaining stable. We then see some Warlock action, as Affliction slightly rises, and Demonology remains stable at the end of the top 10.
