Season 1 of Midnight is ongoing, and players are looking for Dawncrests to upgrade their gear. While Dawncrests from most sources have a weekly cap, there are a few sources for them that do not count for your seasonal Crest cap! Learn how to obtain these Crests and further upgrade your gear in this season.
Cracked Keystone Quest from Delves
Completing a Tier 11 Delve for the first time will give you a 
Cracked Keystone as one of its rewards. This item starts the quest Cracked Keystone, which requires you to complete a Mythic Keystone dungeon at +2 difficulty or higher.
This is a one-time quest that rewards you with 20 
Hero Dawncrest and 20 
Myth Dawncrest that do not count towards the weekly cap.
Nightmare Prey Weekly Quest
Once you unlock Nightmare Preys at Rank 4, Astalor will give you the quest A Nightmarish Task, which requires completing 3 Preys on Nightmare mode. This is a weekly quest that has, among its rewards, 20 Hero Dawncrest that do not count towards the weekly cap.
This weekly quest also gives a free 
Beacon of Hope. This can be used to summon Nullaeus by a Restoration Stone in Delves, which is a quick way to obtain your weekly 
Trovehunter’s Bounty for your guaranteed Hero piece from Tier 8+ Delves.
Nullaeus Kill Rewards
Nullaeus is the Delve Nemesis for Midnight Season 1, and a fairly easy fight for most specializations once you get some gear. Killing him for the first time gives uncapped crest rewards:
- Killing Nullaeus on Tier ? gives 30 Hero Dawncrest.
- Killing Nullaeus on Tier ?? gives 30 Hero Dawncrest and Myth Dawncrest.
- If you kill Nullaeus on Tier ?? first, you will receive both crest rewards, and no longer need to kill him on Tier ?.
