Information from Blizzard on when we’ll see Neighbourhood Endeavors has been vague at best—until now. The new splash screens for the Midnight pre-patch suggest we’ll be seeing them next week! Pre-patch goes live on 20th January (NA) / 21st January (EU), with the Twilight Ascension pre-patch event going live a week later.
Endeavours are a new monthly Player Housing event, where Neighbourhood residents will work together to complete tasks, unlocking new decor and rewards. Recently, Blizzard gave us a little more insight into Endeavours, and teased some exciting things to come.
In the video shared to Blizzard’s socials, Endeavour Tasks included:
- Complete Mythic+ Dungeons
- Kill Raid Bosses
- Earn Honor
- Complete World Quests
- Complete Delves
- Harvest Lumber
- Kill Creatures
- Gather Herbs, Ores, Skins or Fish
Just to name a few. For most players, the Endeavour Tasks shown on Blizzard’s teaser video will complete passively as they play the game—making Endeavour progression rewarding instead of bringing a new grind to the game.
New Housing Currency
Completing Endeavour Tasks will reward House XP, alongside two new currencies:
-
Adventurer Dawncrest – Used to upgrade Adventurer equipment in Midnight Season 1 up to item levels 224-237. When used for crafting, sets the item level of the resulting item to 220-233 based on Quality. -
Community Coupons – Earned from completing Endeavor tasks to support your neighborhood and its friends. Used to purchase items from Endeavor Traders.
Neighbourhood Endeavours are shaping up to be a low-pressure way to progress Player Housing, while still earning meaningful rewards. All eyes are now on next week’s pre-patch—Midnight’s community-focused future is about to begin.
