The Patch 12.0.7 PTR is underway, and we’re taking a look at some of the new cosmetics coming with the patch. N’Zoth and Azshara make a presence in the patch with a few collectibles alluding to them!
N’Zoth-Themed Ray Mounts
There are two N’Zoth-themed ray mounts in Patch 12.0.7: The
Zothwing Darkseeker and
Zothwing Deepseeker. They both share many N’Zoth motifs, with dark blues and purples as their main colors and many eyes.

Azshara-Themed Ensemble Sets
In addition to the mounts, there are two Queen Azshara-themed ensembles:
Ensemble: Azshara’s Darkscale Raiment and
Ensemble: Azshara’s Deepscale Raiment. These do share a few motifs with the N’Zoth mounts, but also follow a Naga coloration.
Of note, the cloaks for both ensembles give a new version of the particle effects originally seen on the Legion Remix achievement set cloaks. The Darkscale set has a more subtle void effect, while the Deepscale set has a watery effect.

Where Can I Get Those Sets?
Unfortunately, we know the sources for at least the mounts – these are both marked a In-Game shop sets. This means it is very likely the mounts and the Azshara sets will be part of upcoming bundle. This is further supported by both mounts and ensembles sharing the Darkscale/Deepscale names and color schemes.
A controversy players have talked about is how cool datamined sets seem to be relegated to the Chinese WoW community. The last example of this was a Venthyr-themed set, which ended up being added as a promotion on Chinese servers. While not being the best avenue for sets like these, at least them being added to the shop means players in the American and European communities will have some manner of access to them.
What do you think of the sets above? What are your opinions on shop sets and the very limited availabillty of China-only sets?
