Blizzard have clarified some initial datamining done on the 12.1 PTR. It seems there were some Housing exteriors that looked like they were going to be coming to the shop. This got some players worried. However, Blizzard explained that that is not what was intended, and they would indeed be available to earn normally in-game.

Hello! This is a really good example of how initial datamining can be a bit misleading. While yes, there is a new exterior coming (and probably more in the future), the particular exterior found in PTR files will not be released in the Shop. It will be available for players to earn within the game.
