With a new weekly reset in the NA region, the first chapter of the Patch 12.1 storyline is available! Complete this questline to start your journey into the Coiled Isle, the central area of the Curse of Ula’tek.
Completing this questline, as well as subsequent chapters, is required to enter the Coiled Isle once Patch 12.1 comes live. The Coiled Isle is the center of activities for the new patch, including a new renown, new world events, and the new raid, the Venomous Abyss.
The EU region will gain access to this questline with their weekly reset tomorrow.
Start the Patch 12.1 Storyline Today in Silvermoon
You can start the first chapter of the Patch 12.1 storyline, Legacy of the Amani, with the quest Hagar’s Invitation. You can pick it up with Orweyna at the Sanctum of Light, right at the center of Silvermoon.
In this questline, you will learn a bit about the past of the Haranir and the C’Thraxi invasion of Zul’Aman. The entire questline should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
The unusually long time is because it requires a Maisara Caverns dungeon run (in Maisara Caverns: Master of Souls), which can be done on Follower difficulty. Do not forget to loot the 
Malacrass’s Notes from Vordaza, the SECOND boss in the dungeon!
Patch 12.1 Chapter 1 Questline Rewards
You can get two rewards from the questline. The quest History Lesson rewards the 
Dusk Grimlynx ground mount, one of the previously unavailable Grimlynx mount variants. The quest Dead End rewards the 
Akiki companion pet.
