The tenth week of Mythic+ in this season is over, and Nightstalker314 is taking a look at the weekly data provided by Raider.IO. Legion Remix saw a massive surge inM+ activity during its second week, while retail M+ dropped off slightly, compared to the previous week. With Turbo Boost not fully active, there was little incentive to push retail keys outside of securing vault slots and timed +12 runs.
While Chinese players leaned a bit more toward retail in week 9, their activity increased quite a lot in Remix while receding on retail. Remix key levels surged past 100 at the same time. So, let’s look at the details.
Weekly Total Run Performance Compared To Other Seasons
In week 9, we saw the biggest drop-off in a regular week for all seasons. Week 10 only slightly dropped below that level of activity. The 4 regular regions saw 6.16% fewer runs. The global number dropped by 12.13% in week 10 because the Chinese run numbers fell by 17.93%. Over there, they shifted a lot stronger from farming retail keys to blasting Remix. Week 11 could see a decent rebound, but long-term, Remix is drawing engagement away from retail.

In the previous week, they accounted for over 50% of all global runs. In week 10, their relative share dropped back towards the level of week 4. It’s going to be interesting how this trend develops over the next few weeks. Chinese players had been pushing into higher key levels on retail earlier. They’re also known for grinding and boosting significantly more, which Remix is tailor-made for.

When comparing total numbers for retail and Remix, we have to keep in mind that Remix is currently a lot more engaging, but the runs are also a lot faster. In week 9, Remix m+ run numbers (544k) only matched up to 46.28% of retail (1.176m). In week 10, the ratio has flipped, and Remix (1.22m) is showing 118.11% of retail’s numbers (1.033m).

Overall, the numbers have more than doubled when comparing Remix weeks 1 and 2. The individual regions, though, have seen vastly different increments. For the European servers, it was a lot smaller (x1.75) since players were already a lot more active in week 1. Korea (x2.83) and China (x2.57) are at the other end of the spectrum.
Total Runs Across All S3 Dungeons
The split of all dungeons has narrowed a bit compared to week 9. The order from most to least favorite dungeon has only swapped places 2 and 3. The overall success rate increased by 2.22 percentage points to 86.78%. Most of the increase can be attributed to an easier affix and efforts to unlock vendor gear in week 11 by timing +12 keys. A continued item-level increase was also beneficial.

Eco-Dome (91.76%) remained the easiest dungeon, just ahead of Gambit (91.61%). Streets of Wonder (90.01%) is once again in 3rd place, followed by Halls (88.22%). Dawnbreaker (85.14%) was leading the lower half with the usual distance. Priory (84.07%) improved quite a lot, despite trash being boosted by Fortified from 7 to 9. But the absence of the Ascendant affix also helped a lot, compared to week 9. Floodgate didn’t fall too much behind with 82.52% and Ara-Kara (78.43%) has yet to receive a major nerf, being 4 percentage points behind.
Split Across All S3 Key Levels
85.23% of all keys were done at key level 10 and above, but only 27.44% exclusively at key level 10. The major focus on key level 12 (26.51%) led to 50.46% of all keys being completed at +12 and higher. Total run numbers only increased for key levels 18 and above. And while the MDI on the tournament realm has produced the first timed +23 run, we have yet to see this on live servers. It might be happening soon, once high-end players have satisfied their Fellowship needs and farmed all their uncapped crests.

After a rough time during the previous week, success rates for lower keys have once again increased by 0.63 to 5.64 percentage points. An easier affix (Pulsar) can do wonders. For higher keys, we saw +10 climb to 93.09% and +12 to 87.85%. These numbers might climb even higher due to farming and benefiting from uncapped crests, as well as 2 more weeks of easy affixes.
Legion Remix Dungeon Split
We saw quite a lot of changes in the line-up during the 2nd Remix week. The split widened a lot more, bringing the most popular dungeon up from 12.61% to 13.56%, while the least popular dropped from 9.09% to 7.39%. The order also shuffled quite a lot. Min/Maxing is the name of the game, and fast dungeons with little RP and easy mechanics have taken the lead.

By now, the Arcway is notorious for sub-5-minute speed runs. Vault of the Wardens and Court of Stars, by contrast, are widely seen as a waste of time, due to lots of RP, running, and waiting. And these two dungeons also represent the outliers with depletion rates close to 3%.
Legion Remix Key Level Split
The key range has increased to ridiculous levels, way beyond 100. And in week 3, so far, teams have pushed even further, surpassing +150 easily. While the +3 key progression ladder is visible, its presence has gone down compared to the first Remix week. By now, the focus is on key levels 20 and 30. Their shares have increased from 5% and 3.87% to 7.8% and 14.6%.

For the near future, completing keys at levels 40 and 49 for further rewards may be the next carrot on a stick. For now, the total run numbers on those levels are one or two orders of magnitude behind. But the success rates are still beyond 90%. And the absolute limit of this mode in Remix is still unknown. Maybe we’ll already see the first +170 or +180 key timed within the next weeks.
Conclusion and Week 11 Forecast
S3 activity hasn’t fallen off that much more, while the effect is significantly stronger on Chinese servers. But outside of finishing the crest farming and a few more vault drops, there isn’t much more to be expected on retail. Maybe housing decor rewards can keep M+ a bit more engaging in the long run. Remix, on the other hand, is seeing a major hype. But that might be a bit more short-lived since M+ is only providing one-time rewards instead of weekly benefits.
As of this writing, 120 hours after the US reset, hourly numbers for EU and US servers are clearly higher than last week. 48% and 37% higher activity are comparable to the first Turbo Boost in S2. On Chinese servers, on the other hand, the focus hasn’t shifted back so far. They continue pushing and boosting in Remix. But the analysis for this will be part of next week’s round-up.
