Turbo Boost Event Guide for Patch 11.2.5 (The War Within)
Get caught up fast, earn more loot, and power up your Warband during the Turbo Boost event in The War Within Season 3 with Puzzling Cartel Chips, changes to The War Within Gear Upgrade System, and more.
What is the Turbo Boost Event?
Turbo Boost is a limited-time event designed to help players progress faster in later stages of seasons. Key highlights include the introduction of Puzzling Cartel Chips that allow players to buy specific items from the Manaforge Omega raid or Mythic+ trinkets, account-wide Valorstones, no crest cap, and extra gear upgrade levels.
What is New for Turbo Boost in War Within Season 3?
Turbo Boost started on live servers on October 21, 2025.
- Hero and Myth track gear received 2 additional upgrade ranks when Patch 11.2.5 went live. As a result, crafted items are recraftable with an Augmentation Matrix for more power.
- On October 21, Fixer So'kir and Fixer So'tho in Dornogal started selling gear and M+ trinkets for Puzzling Cartel Chips. Players can earn a total of 9 chips as Season 3 progresses.
Ethereal Voidsplinter (Matrix Catalyst charges) now drop from Mythic+ dungeons, the Manaforge Omega raid,
and Rated PvP.- The drop rates of Warbound Until Equipped gear from M+ dungeons and Manaforge Omega increased.
- Players can transfer Valorstones across Warbands.
- Za'hran sells Item Level 694 delve trinkets.
Where to Pick Up the Weekly Puzzling Cartel Chip Quest?
You can pick up the weekly quest for Puzzling Cartel Chips in Dornogal. Head to the Great Vault building and look to the right side of the entrance. You will see an ethereal scroll on the wall. Interact with it to start the quest called Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow.
To complete the weekly quest, you must either kill 4 Manaforge Omega raid bosses on any difficulty or complete any 4 Mythic Dungeons.
The first time you complete the quest, you will get 3
Puzzling Cartel Chips. After that, you will receive
1 Chip per week, up to a maximum of 9 Chips per character.

Gear Upgrading Changes
Turbo Boost changes how The War Within Gear Upgrade System works. Notably, two gear tracks are getting +2 more ranks, gear upgrading mats are getting uncapped, and more.
- Hero and Myth-track gear now have 8 upgrade levels (up from 6).
- Crest caps have been removed.
- Valorstones are Warbound, meaning you can send them to alts at a 25% cost.
Additionally, Mythic+ dungeons will drop twice as much Warbound-Until-Equipped gear, making it easier to gear alts!

Delve Improvements
Delves are also getting a buff during Turbo Boost. Here is what is changing:
- Brann will gain experience faster.
- You will gain more Delver's Journey progress.
- You will receive more rewards from Bountiful Coffers, Hidden Troves, Nemesis Strongboxes, and end-of-run chests.

Profession Updates
Turbo Boost also introduces changes to crafting gear!
- Items made with a
Spark of Fortunes can now be recrafted or boosted further using an Augmentation Matrix. - These matrices boost gear by up to +6 item levels. You can buy them from Llande (Enchanting vendor in Dornogal) and Syenite (Crafting Order area in Dornogal).
