Some very nice news today, as Blizzard announce a certain dog and his decor raised a lot of money for a great charity! The Roofus Pack promotion from earlier in the year managed to raise $1.3 million, with 100% of the proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. Players definitely love their in-game doggos, but were also very generous, knowing the money was going to a good cause. But that’s not all, as Blizzard employees also volunteered to help build houses for those affected by the fires in California.
Earlier this year, players adopted Roofus through the Roofus Pack promotion in support of Habitat for Humanity. The cheerful builder, Roofus, joined players across modern World of Warcraft and WoW Classic progression realms as an in-game companion pet linked to a real-world cause, and Paw Pal Housing Decor items helped make players’ houses feel a little more like home.
