Over the next few days, we’ll share quick M+ tips to run that much more smoothly, helping you reach your goals faster this season. Today’s tip is for Altar of Fangs, the new dungeon in Patch 12.1.
Obtaining Mutating Elixir in Altar of Fangs
To obtain this buff, you must have someone in your group with 25 skill in Midnight Alchemy or Midnight Cooking. Interacting with the altar gives your whole group 
Mutating Elixir, which grants 3% Versatility, lasts for the rest of the run, and persists through death.
You can find Unfinished Mixture in the room after the second boss, The Writhing Coil, where you find the Ascendant Serpent NPC. You can see how it looks below, from Tactyks’ video. It is the far-left corner of the room.
