Player Housing is finally here in early access, and while the decorating options are already fun to experiment with, we’re all running into the same problem: windows are limited. At the moment, the
Goldshire Windows are your best choice—but unless you want to drown your whole house in a blue glow, they can be a bit much.
Luckily, players have already come up with a clever workaround!
The Replica Libram of Ancient Kings
The
Replica Libram of Ancient Kings casts a warm, radiant light effect that looks surprisingly close to actual sunbeams. Drop it behind a window and voila! You’ve got golden sunlight streaming into your house.
But What About the Blue Glow?
The
Goldshire Windows still give off their blue hue, so here are a few ways to get around that:
- Flip the
Goldshire Windows around. This reduces the glow, but doesn’t remove it entirely. - Use another sort of window. Dukestein12 used the Suramar-style windows with the Libram for their “Church of Holy Light” build.
- Build your own windows out of beams. As Disomnia pointed out, you can skip Blizzard’s premade windows entirely and frame your own.
How to Get the Replica Libram of Ancient Kings
If you’ve got anything left to do before Legion Remix ends, make sure finishing your Paladin Order Hall is somewhere on that list. Here’s why:
- The
Replica Libram of Ancient Kings is rewarded from the
Legendary Research of the Silver Hand achievement. To get it, you must purchase every Class Hall Upgrade in the Paladin Order Hall. - This cannot be done in Legion Remix itself—but as soon as characters are transferred back to live realms, you can purchase the upgrades and unlock the Libram.
Once you’ve got it, you’ve basically got your own pocket sun. Light be with you, Champion.
