Gandalin has updated their gearing guide for Turbo Boost! Here’s what’s changed!
Hero and Myth Tracks Get 2 Extra Ranks
As part of the Turbo Boost event, both Hero and Myth-track gear now include 8 upgrade ranks, up from the previous 6. This means gear that was previously capped can now reach even higher item levels.
- Hero-track gear now upgraded to Item Level 671
- Myth-track gear can now reach Item Level 684
Crafted Gear Gets a Boost
Crafted gear also received updates in Turbo Boost. There are new Augmentation Matrices that increase a crafted item’s item level by +3 or +6. They can be purchased from the same vendor who sells Enchanted Crests.

Gear Upgrading Material Changes
Outside of the chart, Blizzard has implemented more quality-of-life changes tied to gear upgrading currencies!
- Valorstones can now be transferred to alts with a 25% transfer cost.
- Crests are now uncapped.
