Blizzard has released a behind-the-scenes video on the rebuilding of Quel’Thalas for the Midnight expansion! This video was posted on the official WoW YouTube channel.
Developers from several disciplines in the WoW team go into great detail about how they have approached rebuilding Quel’Thalas and Silvermoon City for Midnight.
As we watch the video, it is clear that a lot of respect went into the process. Developers attempted to strike a balance between respecting the original Quel’Thalas legacy in both Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Burning Crusade and adapting the zone to modern WoW gameplay.
