Patch 12.1 is adding a variety of new mount types. Today, we’re taking a look at the Skyfang mounts!
Skyfangs are a new model for Wind Serpents. This is the first time Wind Serpents will be available as mounts in WoW!
Skyfang Mounts Available in Patch 12.1
The 
Emerald Skyfang is the reward for the achievement 
Pro Poison Patroller, which requires completing 250 Patrol tasks in the Vaults of Atal’Utek.
The 
Violet-Backed Skyfang is one of the rewards from Zul’jarra’s Forces, the new Renown faction in Patch 12.1. Like all flying mounts from Renown, it will be available starting at Renown 19.
Datamined Skyfang Model Variants
The models highlighted below are variants of the Skyfang mount model that do not include mount items or are otherwise unavailable at this point in the Patch 12.1 development. We can hope they will be added at a later date.
Wind Serpents have been a creature type since Vanilla WoW, so it is exciting to see them becoming mounts. Will you grind for these?
