Players have noticed that the patch 11.2.7 roadmap removed the Winds of Mysterious Fortune graphic. Reddit user MattstaNinja posted the new one on the r/wow subreddit.

Blizzard has made no official announcement on the change, which is leading to some confusion. It’s possible it might make a comeback later and Blizzard didn’t want another XP event to line up with several others. With WoW’s 21st anniversary granting up to 65% bonus XP, Legion Remix, and Turbulent Timeways coming up on December 2, there’s plenty of XP bonuses to go around for players who want to level. The biggest disappointment here is the loss of the reputation bonus. The 21st anniversary can grant up to 20% reputation bonus, but the
Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff offered much larger gains.
Winds of Mysterious Fortune was a buff that first appeared during the 11.1.5 patch. The buff increased experience gains by 20%, and reputation gains by 100% in some The War Within zones and 200% in Dragonflight zones. It was introduced as a way to level characters, get gear and cosmetics, and complete reputations heading into Season 3.
Here’s hoping we see it before the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight.
