With the crest cap now removed, players can save some time gearing up by upgrading crests.
Players can visit Vaskarn in Silvermoon to make the upgrades.
How Can I Upgrade My Crests?
To upgrade crests, you’ll need to achieve the ______ of the Dawn achievements, officially outgrowing each type of crest.
For example, once you get the 
Champion of the Dawn achievement by having at least an item level 263 in every slot, players will be able to trade 
Champion Dawncrests for 
Hero Dawncrests by purchasing a 
Celebratory Pack of Hero Dawncrests. 30 Dawncrests of a previous tier will give you 10 of the next.

The achievements give access to warband-wide crest discounts, but upgrading crests can only be done by individual characters who have the achievement. Newer characters can’t advantage of this, but this can save some time on grinding crests on your main and potentially on alts.
