Players hoping to get their hands on China’s Titanforged realms and rewards have been given some disappointing news.
During a recent interview with Psybear_tv,World of Warcraft Game Directors, Ion Hazzikostas and Paul Kubit, discussed whether the China-exclusive could eventually make its way to North America and Europe.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.
Ion explained that Titan Reforged was created specifically in response to the way the Chinese community was playing the game—which involved raiding on multiple characters, and largely excluding other content. Blizzard then worked with NetEase to create an experience tailored to that specific audience.
However, the team didn’t see enough demand from Western players on launch to justify bringing the same experience to other regions. That means Titanforged realms are staying exclusive to China for now, with Blizzard effectively confirming that a Western release isn’t being pursued.
