With a small alt army and a few Warlords of Draenor Garrisons, you can generate every Player Housing dye pigment in the game without spending any gold at all. Thanks to Reddit user, tkd77, we know exactly how.
Start off by getting a Trading Post building in each of your WoD Garrisons. Once that’s done, complete the quest Tricks of the Trade from Fayla Fairfeather (Horde) or Trader Joseph (Alliance). After that, Pyxni Pennypocket will appear at your Trading Post, selling materials—and herbs—for as little as 16 Garrison Resources.
The six herbs available through Pyxni Pennypocket’s vendor rotation are used to create every pigment type in the game:

Fireweed -
Gorgrond Flytrap -
Starflower -
Nagrand Arrowbloom -
Talador Orchid
You’ll still need either Alchemy or Inscription to turn the herbs into pigments and dyes, but this method completely removes the gold cost—and the tedious grind of collecting herbs yourself. You can check out which herbs make which pigments using this cheat sheet.
And whilst you’re in your Garrison, it’s also worth leveling your Herb Garden for even more free Draenor herbs! With enough alts running Garrisons, you can keep yourself supplied indefinitely—perfect if you’re planning to go all-in on Player Housing without going bankrupt.
