HoYoverse just released a spooky new trailer to introduce Yidhari, the next upcoming Agent in Zenless Zone Zero! And it is giving ghost story meets eldritch mermaid energy in the best way possible.
The short animated video, “Hot Spring Siren,” starts off like a local campfire story. Two kids whisper about a mysterious sea creature said to appear during storms, only for the “monster” to turn out to be Yidhari herself, a rather calm, sleepy, and a bit of clumsy woman with tentacles, and a strangely gentle aura. The twist? She is not a monster at all, just misunderstood… though the townsfolk might disagree after she rises from a hot spring at the end of the trailer.
“A sea monster in a hot spring… I should use that in my next story,” Yidhari says, after accidentally terrifying the two storytellers.

Yidhari – Ice, Rupture, and Risk
Beyond the spooky ghost stories, Yidhari’s gameplay makes her one of Zenless Zone Zero’s most interesting characters yet. She is an Ice-type DPS who specializes in Rupture damage, and her kit revolves around a risk-reward mechanic.
She sacrifices her own HP to boost her power, can heal herself, and deals increasing damage the lower her health gets. Not only that, but she can deal a ton of damage and survive on her own if you manage her health bar properly.
That puts her in direct competition with top-tier agents like Yixuan and Miyabi, making her a high-skill, high-reward addition for players who love living dangerously.
Yidhari will be featured on the next upcoming banner, so you better get your spooky stories ready!
