Diablo 4 continues to receive a few very quick post-launch Hotfixes and bug fixes following the Lord of Hatred expansion, and after the last Glyph upgrade fix, Aspect, and War Plan Nodes being disabled, we now have a couple of additional fixes!

Choron’s Flesh Node Disabled and Then Restored

One of the more unusual issues involved the “Choron’s Flesh” Warplans node that was bugged out and had to be temporarily disabled due to an unintended interaction. Luckily, Blizzard was pretty quick to investigate the problem, and the node has now been fully re-enabled, meaning you can safely use it again as intended.

Known Issue: Choron’s Flesh (Warplans Node) – Temporarily Disabled (Resolved)

Choron’s Flesh is now re-enabled. Thank you all for your patience. May your loot be awesome!

Paladin Free Trial Crash Fixed

Another bug fix targeted a bigger issue. Some players experienced crashes at character selection when trying the Paladin Free Trial, especially on Battle.net. This was quite problematic since it meant that you could not try out the new class if you played through the Battle.net launcher.

This has now also been resolved with another hotfix, so if you are still hesitating about buying the expansion, and you simply want to try out the new class, you can now access the Paladin and play up to a certain level for free with it.

HOTFIX 6 – May 6, 2026 – 3.0.1

HOTFIX 6 – May 6, 2026 – 3.0.1

  • Fixed crash issue with the Paladin Free Trial on Battle.net.

Nothing massive here, but it is the kind of small hotfixes that are definitely needed and that you want to see this early after an expansion release. Blizzard is fixing things quite fast with minimal downtime, and systems are being restored quickly instead of staying disabled for multiple days.

If you ran into issues trying the Paladin or noticed war plan nodes being disabled, everything should now be back to normal. A few other bugs are still running, but Blizzard is still working on those, so things should go back to normal soon!
