Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred has officially launched, bringing the climactic showdown with Mephisto, the long-teased region of Skovos, two new classes, and one of the most ambitious system overhauls Sanctuary has seen since launch.
What’s Live Right Now
Lord of Hatred drops a massive amount of new content into Diablo IV all at once, including:
- Two new classes with the Warlock and the Paladin
- A new campaign continuing the Hatred arc, with the final stand against Mephisto
- The Talisman system introduces set bonuses through Seals and Charms
- War Plans is a structured endgame progression system
- The return of the Horadric Cube and a complete skill tree redesign across all classes
- Loot Filters, Fishing, and a level cap increase to 70
- An expanded Lair Boss system with consolidated keys and dedicated Unique pools
- Reworked Unique items with fewer fixed affixes and Tempering access

Season of Reckoning Starts 30 Minutes After Launch
Season of Reckoning, the new seasonal content, doesn’t go live at the same time as the expansion. It starts approximately 30 minutes after Lord of Hatred launches.
That means if you log in right at the expansion’s release time, you won’t immediately have access to the seasonal content.
