Diablo 4 Players No Longer Have to Stare at the Minimap to Navigate

Blizzard added a genuinely useful navigation feature that will be coming with Lord of Hatred, and which, quite frankly, did not get enough spotlight during the developer reveal stream yesterday.

Pathfinding is going to be a new mechanic coming to Diablo 4!

Turn it on and the game draws your route directly to your destination on the new map overlay, so you always know where you are going without having to constantly check your minimap. It is completely optional, so if you prefer navigating the old way, nothing changes for you.

It also works with the new map overlay system, which gives you a broader view of the game without the minimap getting in the way. Pathfinding basically just adds one more layer of convenience on top of that.

It might be a small feature, but a very welcome one! Lord of Hatred launches April 28.
