Blizzard recently posted the patch notes for Diablo 4 season 10, and along with all of the changes coming to Infernal Hordes, we are getting some new gear. These new but familiar items come in the form of the brand new Chaos Armor.
Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Armor
Chaos Armor are Unique items that appear as stronger counterparts, but are in other item slots. For example, you can now find the Banished Lord’s Talisman on Gloves, with its aspect empowered.

This new armor will always have at least one Greater Affix, and its aspect will be maximized and boosted beyond its normal capabilities. As the example shows, the Banished Lord’s Talisman typically scales up to 60% but instead, it scales up to 72%.
Chaos Armor can appear for the following item slots:
- Helm
- Chest
- Gloves
- Pants
- Boots
Chaos Uniques will only appear as an item fit for anything other than its original slot. For example, Flickerstep won’t have a Chaos Armor version in the Boots slot. Additionally, you won’t be able to equip the same Unique item between the Chaos version and the standard.

Where to Obtain Chaos Armor?
You can expect to farm Chaos Armor from Chaos Rifts. These rifts appear in the open world of Sanctuary within Helltides or Nightmare Dungeons. Additionally, in extremely rare cases, when playing in Torment difficulties, you may even come across a Mythic Chaos Rift, which drops even greater rewards.
Are you excited for Diablo 4 season 10? Is Chaos Armor enough of a game shifter to add some variety or perhaps even revive some non-meta builds? Will this prompt some Unique’s to become different armor pieces down the line?
