Diablo Immortal Reveals Warlock Class and 2026 Roadmap

Blizzard used the Diablo 30th anniversary stream to drop some major news for Diablo Immortal. Alongside Diablo 2 and Diablo 4, Immortal is officially getting the brand-new Warlock class, as well as a full 2026 roadmap outlining what’s ahead for the year.

It’s shaping up to be a big year for Diablo Immortal. The Warlock arrives this April, followed by a battleground overhaul, new subzones, and a crossover event planned for later in the year.

The Warlock Is Coming to Diablo Immortal

The next class previously leaked for Diablo 4 has now been confirmed for Diablo Immortal as well. The Warlock is a brutal dark caster who quite literally fights fire with fire, invoking and binding the powers of Hell itself.

Drawing from the long-buried practices of Vizjerei magic, the Warlock summons demonic weapons forged in the Burning Hells. The class also commands Soulgorger, a terrifying beast empowered by devouring other demons and absorbing their traits in battle.

Return to Lut Gholein

Players will also return to one of the most iconic cities in the Diablo franchise. Lut Gholein makes its comeback, though the once-vibrant city has been split into two distinct wards.

The Common Ward is overrun with demonic corruption, filled with shattered ruins and lingering darkness. Meanwhile, the High Ward remains mysteriously intact, standing as a haunting shadow of the city’s former glory.

Andariel Returns

The Maiden of Anguish herself is also making her way to Diablo Immortal. Driven by dark godhood, Andariel plots to harvest anguish across the region. The lesser evil is responsible for much of Lut Gholein’s destruction, tying directly into the city’s current state.

2026 Roadmap Highlights

Blizzard also unveiled the 2026 roadmap, confirming several new subzones, a major battleground overhaul, the arrival of the Warlock class, and celebrations tied to Diablo Immortal’s fourth anniversary.

With all of this on the horizon, Diablo Immortal may be worth another look—whether you’re a returning player or considering jumping in for the first time.
