<li><strong>4 hours:</strong> Ancient of the Void emblem</li>



<li><strong>6 hours:</strong> The Teeming Brood emblem</li>

<p>No need to own Diablo IV or the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/vessel-of-hatred-overview" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vessel of Hatred expansion</a>, you can unlock these rewards for free just by tuning in. They will  automatically be added to your account either way.</p>

How to Get the Diablo IV x Starcraft Twitch Drops


<p>Diablo 4 Season 10 is living up to its name! It is definitely chaotic. Between the new <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-armor-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Armor</a> and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-perks-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Perks</a>, many players are reporting strange effects on their characters, from health suddenly capping at 50% to attacks taking seconds to go off.</p>



<p>At first glance, it is easy to assume the game is bugged. It is always the game&#8217;s fault, after all. But more often than not, it is not a glitch. For once, it might just be the perk you equipped without realizing what it actually does.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chaos Perks: The Hidden Culprit</h2>



<p>If you have been playing this season and thought your character was acting… weird, you are not alone. Quite a few players reported their heroes suddenly losing health, being stunned, or having attacks on a delay, all without any clear reason.</p>



<p>Reddit quickly filled with posts like: &#8220;Why is my basic attack taking 3-4 seconds to happen?&#8221; and &#8220;My screen keeps flashing red, I&#8217;m losing health, what is going on?!&#8221;</p>

<p>You will find that after some digging (and a few facepalm moments), it turns out it is often just a Chaos Perk that has been equipped. A lot of players were trying them out in empty perk slots, thinking, &#8220;Eh, it will do until I get the good stuff,&#8221; only to be blindsided by the effects.</p>



<p>Here is a taste of what the community has been going through:</p>

<li>ciomeica: <em>&#8220;I came here for help earlier, if your basic Attack takes 3-4 sec before you can do it again, it&#8217;s one of the chaos powers. Drove me insane haha&#8221;</em></li>



<li>DwightKSchnute: <em>&#8220;That one didn&#8217;t last and the one where your health caps out at 50% lol I was like what the hell is going on&#8221;</em></li>



<li>xRandomHerosx: <em>&#8220;That weird ass purple surge on my character was driving me nuts lol. Took me about 20 minutes to figure this out.&#8221;</em></li>

<p>Some builds even leaned into these chaos perks for fun combos:</p>



<ul>
<li>SlasherEnigma: <em>&#8220;I’m rocking the half health with my barb, but I also have my shouts always active with 70% damage reduction and resists at 82% so I&#8217;m not exactly worried about taking hits.&#8221;</em></li>



<li>CultOfTheIdiot: &#8220;<em>Funnily enough, I found out a fun interaction between that Chaos Power and the Necro one that lets your Skeleton Warriors use Reap once in awhile.&#8221;</em></li>
</ul>



<p>However, not everybody was amused. Many players thought their game was glitched or lagging, especially when multiple perks stacked.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lessons Learned</h2>



<p>The main takeaway is to <strong>always check what Chaos Perks you have equipped.</strong> It will take you less time to read the actual descriptions than trying to figure out why your character is acting weird. </p>



<p>The perks can really change your gameplay, even if your gear (legendaries and uniques) are not involved.</p>



<p>One Redditor BABABOYE5000 summed it up perfectly: &#8220;In ARPGS, where one node, one affix can change so much, people just don&#8217;t read/parse/understand what they&#8217;re committing to.&#8221;</p>



<p>Chaos perks are meant to change your builds and introduce a risk vs reward mechanic into your gameplay, but if you are unprepared, your character will feel broken.</p>


Why Your Diablo 4 Season 10 Build Feels Broken


<p><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10 of Diablo 4</a> has plenty of wild moments, but one scene currently has players completely confused. In the seasonal questline, the main NPC ally suddenly stabs a stranger from behind&#8230; and then just walks away. </p>



<p>There is no build-up to this moment, no follow-up, and no explanation either. Just a casual murder, and then the story keeps going.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Scene Everyone Is Talking About</h2>



<p>During the questline, you travel with Shyan (who is the main NPC ally during the season campaign playthrough) when she suddenly walks up to a man looking out at the water&#8230; and stabs him. At that point, there is no dialogue happening, and she does so without warning. Afterward, she walks off, and you are left standing there wondering, &#8220;uhh, what just happened?&#8221;</p>

<p>Players on Reddit joked it was just &#8220;business as usual&#8221; in Sanctuary. A few thought it might even be a hint that Shyan is secretly connected to <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/bartuc-infernal-hordes-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bartuc</a>.</p>



<p>But not everyone was confused. Some players pointed out that if you actually listen to the dialogue, she mentions being &#8220;on business&#8221; while in disguise. That is where the actual Diablo lore comes in.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Connecting the Dots With Diablo Lore</h2>



<p>Digging into Diablo lore gives us a clue. Shyan is connected to the <a href="https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Viz-Jaq'taar" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Viz-Jaq&#8217;taar</a>, also known as the Mage Slayers. They are an order of assassins who deal with corrupt magic users and eliminate threats from the shadows.</p>

<p>So, while it looked like a random seaside murder, it might not have been random at all. That &#8220;poor guy enjoying the view&#8221; may have been a mage target marked for execution. If that is true, then her actions were not weird or a plot hole; it was her literally doing her job as an assassin.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wait… What Just Happened?</h2>



<p>Even if the lore backs it up, the scene still felt totally random to a lot of players. Without that context, it just looks like Shyan is out here stabbing some guy on Sanctuary for no reason. That left people confused, laughing, or even assuming it was a bug.</p>



<p>Blizzard probably meant it as a subtle nod to her roots, but instead it turned into one of the most talked-about moments of the current season.</p>


Is There a Lore Reason Behind That Surprise Stabbing in Diablo 4?


<p>If you are a fan of couch co-op in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo IV, the latest season might be testing your patience</a>. Reddit players have been reporting a lot of frustrating bugs affecting split-screen gameplay on consoles, from Xbox Series X to PS5.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is Going Wrong</h2>



<p>According to players on Xbox, menu controls are acting up during split-screen. Cursors randomly jump between players, inventory or skill menus can freeze, and sometimes opening or closing one player&#8217;s menu affects the other&#8217;s. </p>



<p>Beyond that, rubber-banding during map transitions and NPC or quest bugs have left players stuck or invisible until they reload areas. Helltides are also miscounting cinders for couch co-op partners.</p>



<p>One Reddit user wrote: <em>&#8220;We really want to enjoy this latest season but couch co-op quality of life needs major improvement.</em>&#8220;</p>



<p>Others confirmed seeing similar issues on PS5.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Can You Fix It?</h2>



<p>A rather easy &#8220;fix&#8221; you can try, if you have the possibility, is to each have their own console and screen. Some players reported zero issues when both people play on their own screen or console. So this is suggesting the bugs are mostly tied to split-screen.</p>



<p>However, not everyone has the luxury of having two consoles, or even two screens. When you couch co-op, you typically play on the same console and screen, so it would be nice for a lot of players if Blizzard would look into the issue.</p>



<p>Couch co-op in Diablo IV is still a fun way to play with friends or your partner, but Season 10 seems to have introduced some frustrating glitches for those sharing a console. </p>

<p>Diablo 4 Season 10 has been out for a few days, and while there have been a handful of changes and some player adjustments the community direly wants, Season 10 has, in fact, been one of the most popular seasons so far.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How Good Is Diablo 4 Season 10 So Far?</h2>



<p>In terms of balancing, Season 10 is sporting one of the most diverse build metas in quite a while. Almost <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/speed-farming-tier-list" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">every class has at the very least one S-tier build</a>, some classes even having over three top-ranking builds. </p>



<p>The community is also praising the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/boss-invulnerability-reworked-in-diablo-4-season-10" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">immunity phase reworks for Lair Boss encounters</a>, thus making each fight far faster and enjoyable as a result. Plus, the new <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-armor-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Armor</a> and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-perks-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos perks</a> are continuing to be a big success for the playerbase, with many players enjoying the gearing mix-up that Chaos Armor brings.</p>

Of course, this is without knowing the number of players on Battle.net (which is likely more) and on consoles.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Good, the Bad, and the Reworks</h2>



<p>Season 10 introduced a handful of reworks, including the previously mentioned immunity phase changes for Lair Bosses, among others. Sadly, this season still has some glaring problems. Despite some <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/new-diablo-4-update-buffs-chaos-armor-item-power" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hotfixes</a> rolling out that have already made adjustments, there are, of course, some problems with this season. </p>

<p>One of the bigger problems this season has been the Soulspire reworks so far. This small change now requires players to slay demons inside the Soulspire, drastically nerfing the overall speed and flow of Infernal Hordes. However, thankfully, we have already gotten word that <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/blizzard-hints-at-fixes-for-diablo-4s-most-hated-seasonal-mechanic" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">changes will be happening soon</a>, so players hopefully won&#8217;t be avoiding Infernal Hordes for long.</p>

StarCraft Invades Diablo 4 – Collab Cosmetics Are Out Now


<p>Every player is currently celebrating a long-awaited change in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10</a>: bosses no longer waste your time with immunity phases.</p>



<p>Instead of disappearing, dodging spikes, or forcing you to wait through drawn-out animations, bosses like <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/uber-andariel-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Andariel</a>, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/uber-duriel-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Duriel</a>, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/echo-of-varshan-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Varshan</a>, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/harbinger-of-hatred-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the Harbinger</a>, and more now use a barrier mechanic. That means they stay in the fight and can be killed outright if your damage is high enough. And <strong>yes, that also includes the Echo of Lilith!</strong></p>

<p>Since Lilith is also affected, this season is a great time to grab a &#8220;free&#8221; <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Quest_MiscTrinkets_11.webp" alt="Resplendent Spark"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Crafting Material" data-item-quality="normal">Resplendent Spark</span></span></a>. It is not literally free, of course, but with her being much easier to farm, this is a good shortcut toward crafting Mythic Uniques later in the season.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Boss Fights Finally Feel Fun Again</h2>



<p>For most of the community, this is a big win. Farming bosses now feels faster, better, and closer to the &#8220;loot piñata&#8221; experience that ARPG fans crave. You kill them, you get your loot, and you move on.</p>



<p>There is a comment within a <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/1nr0kl3/so_is_everyone_happy_now_that_andariel_and_duriel/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">related Reddit thread</a>, in which a player summed it up perfectly: <em>&#8220;Yes. This is how it should have been. Diablo 4 is a game first and foremost for blasters. If you want to suffer through hard fights, there are other genres for that.&#8221;</em></p>

<p>As is often the case, not everyone is happy. A smaller group of players still miss the old-school <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 2</a> days, where Uber bosses forced you to plan ahead and build specifically to beat them.</p>



<p>For most players, though, the change feels like a win. Getting rid of immunity phases was needed, and the game flows much better now.</p>

Boss Farming Is Way Easier in Diablo 4 Season 10


<p>For years, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> players have been frustrated by the random nature of <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tempering-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tempering</strong> </a>and <strong><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/masterworking-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Masterworking</a></strong>. Items can get &#8220;bricked&#8221; after rolling the same affix multiple times in a row, making crafting feel more punishing than rewarding.</p>



<p>With Season 10 that just started, players are once again venting on Reddit about how the whole Diablo 4 crafting system needs to be changed:</p>

<p>Even experienced players admit the system feels a bit cruel. Players are fine with RNG on some aspects like loot drops, however, right now, bad luck can literally destroy a valuable item, and there is little we can do to mitigate it.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Community Wants a Rework</h2>



<p>Players are not just frustrated. They are asking Blizzard for a proper rework. Suggestions include:</p>



<ul>
<li>Increasing costs but removing charges</li>



<li>Giving players the option to keep the current temper (similar to affixes)</li>



<li>Overhauling RNG mechanics entirely</li>
</ul>



<p>Many see this as a critical step before Season 11 or the next expansion, especially for builds that rely on precise stats.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Season 11 Changes</h2>



<p>On the Reddit post, some people reported that <strong>Season 11 </strong>will include updates to both Tempering and Masterworking. There are not many details, but if it is true, it could change a lot of things.</p>



<p>The current crafting system is definitely frustrating, but there is hope that Blizzard is listening. Season 11 could finally make Tempering and Masterworking feel fairer, and make crafting a more satisfying part of Diablo 4 again.</p>


Why Tempering & Masterworking Make Diablo 4 a Crafting Nightmare


<p>Diablo 4 players are running into something that feels almost too on-brand for this game. A new thread on Reddit claims that if you complete a run with exactly 666 Aether, you can summon <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/bartuc-infernal-hordes-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bartuc, Lord of Chaos</a>, for free. Meaning you will keep your Aether after the fight.</p>

<p>Normally, Bartuc costs 666 Aether to summon. That number alone is already a fun nod to the devil&#8217;s number, but things get even spicier if this trick actually works as described.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bug or Hidden Easter Egg?</h2>



<p>It is not clear if this is a real easter egg or just a bug, but the idea of summoning a Lord of Hell for free, when you have exactly 666 Aether, feels almost too perfect. Players are already joking that it has to be intentional.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Bartuc Is Worth the Aether</h2>



<p>Bartuc is already a good choice for farming compared to the Council this season:</p>



<ul>
<li>At <strong>Tier 3 and above</strong>, he is supposed to drop at least one piece of Chaos Armor.</li>



<li>Council fights can drop the same loot, but it is far less consistent.</li>



<li>Since the equipment chest costs 400 Aether, farming 1066 Aether lets you do Bartuc and the chest in the same run.</li>
</ul>



<p>That makes him a priority target for players looking to squeeze the most value out of their Aether.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bartuc Loot Debate</h2>



<p>Regarding the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/bartuc-infernal-hordes-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">boss fight</a> in general: Reports are mixed right now. Players say Bartuc always drops Chaos Armor at T3, but a few commenters point out that their runs came up empty. </p>



<p>And on the topic of bugs: There have been players who mentioned that Town Portaling mid-fight might cause loot to bug out.</p>



<p>But the 666 trick? That one has got players grinning. Intentional or not, it feels right at home in Diablo.</p>

What Happens if You Summon Bartuc With Exactly 666 Aether?


<p><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4&#8217;s latest season</a> has brought some exciting updates, but not every change has been well received. The <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/infernal-hordes-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Soulspires mechanic in Infernal Hordes</a> was changed, and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/are-soulspires-ruining-infernal-hordes-in-diablo-4-season-10" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">it was not for the better</a>. It has quickly become one of the most hated features of the season. </p>



<p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/1nqa7nv/blizzard_just_delete_them_at_this_point_man_what/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Players across forums</a> and <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/1nqdrzm/spires_are_far_worse_than_before/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reddit are voicing their frustrations</a>, and now even a Blizzard developer has stepped in to comment.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Soulspires Are So Frustrating</h2>



<p>Infernal Hordes were meant to be the highlight of Diablo 4&#8217;s new season, but Soulspires quickly turned into a pain point. Unlike before, only monsters killed <em>inside</em> the spire&#8217;s radius now count toward progression. That means:</p>



<ul>
<li>Waves often drag on with not enough spawns inside the circle.</li>



<li>Enemies chase after party members, leaving the spire empty.</li>



<li>Ranged classes in particular struggle, since kills outside the radius do not progress the event.</li>
</ul>



<p>Instead of adding variety, many feel Soulspires just slow everything down. It makes a fun activity, much more frustrating, especially when you end up with 4 Spires locking your entire run. Many players end up not even being able to fight Bartuc, <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/1nqdl26/infernal_hordes_is_so_bad_spires_that_its_really/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">because Spires keep them from gathering enough Aether</a>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Players Push Back Hard</h2>



<p>Reddit and the official forums are <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/1nqt2ce/for_the_love_of_lilith_please_get_rid_of_the/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">overflowing with posts demanding changes</a>. Some want Soulspires reworked, and others are asking Blizzard to remove them from this season altogether.</p>



<p>The frustration mainly comes from how they turn the newly improved Infernal Hordes to hell. What was meant to be a fun grind ends up being tedious and unrewarding if Soulspires spawn too often.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Blizzard Finally Acknowledges the Issue</h2>

<p>It looks like Blizzard is aware of the complaints. During a Twitch chat, Diablo 4 developer <strong>Aislyn Hall</strong> reacted to Soulspire discussions, saying:</p>



<p><em>&#8220;That is special, we’re thinking about how to improve Soulspires.</em>&#8220;</p>



<p>It is not a full announcement, but it is the first time a dev has publicly hinted that changes could be on the way.</p>



<p>For now, nothing is confirmed, but the acknowledgement has given players hope that adjustments may come in a future patch. Players hope that means better spawn rates, looser rules, or a complete rework, but it remains to be seen.</p>



<p>One thing is clear, Blizzard knows Soulspires have not landed as intended, and it is nice to see that they are listening, and taking action immediately now.</p>
