Diablo 4 Season 10 is almost here, but Blizzard has not dropped the final patch notes yet. This means that everything can still change, from balance to bugs, and more! However, players are already sharing ideas and recommendations about what build will define the meta!

Waiting for the Patch Notes

A lot of players agree that the Season 10 meta will only be defined after Blizzard reveals the last-minute balance adjustments. Overpowered builds, Chaos Armor interactions, and bugged powers have changed performance in previous seasons, so many are waiting before picking their starter class.

The Druid Hype

If there is one class getting all the hype right now, it is Druid. Builds like RavensRavens, Storm Crow, PulverizePulverize, and Werenado are all expected to be strong, with some already clearing Pit 110+ on the PTR, even without relying on chaos power abuse.

Other Class Picks

  • Sorcerer: HydraHydra, MeteorMeteor, and Charged BoltsCharged Bolts builds could be S-Tier if they don’t get nerfed. Chaos Perks Mana ShieldMana Shield builds will also be very strong.
  • Necromancer: Blood WaveBlood Wave and Minion builds remain popular. Blood Orb builds are also being tested and could be S-Tier this season. Necromancer will be strong for early and late-game scaling.
  • Rogue: Rogue is the underwhelming class this season. FlurryFlurry still works, but it frustrates players. With all the powerful builds basically nerfed by now, no real changes to the Rogue class Specializations, many feel the class is once again left on the side of the road.
  • Barbarian: Double SwingDouble Swing cleared past 100 in PTR, showing promise, but Barb is still widely seen as mid-tier. WhirlwindWhirlwind and Thorns builds should be strong alternatives.
  • Spiritborn: The Spiritborn is still very popular, with unique items and Chaos Armor pushing a few builds into S-tier potential.

Chaos Armor and the Wildcards

Season 10 introduces new Chaos Armor items, and those act as overpowered variants of existing Uniques across multiple slots. These drops could completely change the meta depending on availability and synergy, potentially making or breaking builds overnight.

Community Strategy

Some players plan to wait until mid-season for the balance to settle, but others will try it out on day one with Druid or Sorcerer. There is also a growing interest in alts like Necromancer for spooky season, Spiritborn experiments, and unique non-meta builds for those who do not care about the meta race.

No one knows the true Season 10 meta until Blizzard reveals the final patch notes, but for now points go to Druid, Sorcerer, and Chaos Armor builds taking the lead. As always, the first week of the season will heavily influence what becomes S-tier.
