Diablo 4’s newest class, the Warlock, is proving to be the most dominant class in the game right now. After two seasons of severe underperformance, Blizzard was determined to shine a new light on the class, with the Season 15 patch notes reading like one Warlock buff after another.
We have also predicted that Warlock will dominate Season 15 during our PTR patch note class breakdown article, that you can check out here.
As it stands, 99 players on the official Warlock leaderboards have already cleared Pit 150, the hardest challenge currently available in Diablo 4, less than four days into the season.
Other classes aren’t even close, with most of the top clears sitting around Pit 135. The closest competitor is Sorcerer, whose top player has reached an impressive Pit 148. However, the second-ranked Sorcerer has only managed to clear Pit 138, highlighting just how far ahead the top Warlock players currently are.

It’s worth acknowledging that Warlock has benefited from a recent bug involving the Dominance upgrade for Fiend of Abaddon, which resulted in unintended amounts of damage. However, there are still plenty of top-ranked Warlock clears that aren’t reliant on the exploit, thanks to just how powerful Blazing Scream is in Season 15.
With 99 players already reaching Pit 150 just days after launch, it’s difficult to ignore how dominant the class currently is. We are still very early into the season, giving other classes time to catch up, but Warlock has already made a very strong case for being the powerhouse many expected it to be.
Blizzard is aware of the Fiend of Abaddon issue and is currently working on a fix.
PSA – Warlock Skill Upgrade Temporarily Disabled
We’ve discovered an issue where the Dominance upgrade for Fiend of Abaddon is causing damage to scale higher than intended. We’ve temporarily disabled the upgrade while we investigate and implement a fix.
We’ll post here with updates as soon as the upgrade is available again.
