Play Midnight for a Classic Anniversary Edition Flying Mount
Earn the menacing Voidfeather Dragonhawk flying mount to carry you through the fel-scarred realm of Outland in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition* after completing the introduction scenario in World of Warcraft: Midnight**.

Quel’Thalas is under siege! Complete the intro scenario of Midnight, pitting you against Void forces during their invasion of the home of the Blood Elves, and earn the “Echoes of Midnight” achievement before the promotion period ends to get the Voidfeather Dragonhawk flying mount for use in your Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary adventures.
The Voidfeather Dragonhawk mount is only available in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms, and characters must have Expert Riding or better to use it. This mount automatically scales to the fastest riding skill known by each character.
How to Start the Midnight Intro Scenario
- Log in to your account and make your way to the Midnight expansion** from the dropdown menu in the launcher. You may need to download it if you haven’t already.
- At level 80, you’ll receive the quest to begin the “Midnight” questline.
- Follow the “A Voice from the Light” quest to speak to Lady Liadrin, where she gives you the option to teleport to Quel’Danas or watch the cinematic.
- Complete the introductory quests to progress through the Midnight starting scenario and earn the “Echoes of Midnight” achievement. If you already have World of Warcraft: Midnight and completed the introduction scenario, confirm that you earned the “Echoes of Midnight” achievement when you search for it in the Achievements log (CTRL+Y).
- To claim the Voidfeather Dragonhawk flying mount from the Unexpected Gift, log into Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary, pick up the “Unexpected Delivery” quest from a major city’s innkeeper, or Landro Longshot, located in Booty Bay in the Cape of Stranglethorn. When you mouse over the Unexpected Gift, you should see that it contains the Reins of the Voidfeather Dragonhawk.
