After the latest hotfix for Season 15, Moophisto has once again started dropping a peculiar amulet that used to drop during the pre-season community challenge.
This amulet is the Bell of the Bovine, which has a Lucky Hit chance to spawn a Cow that explodes for fire damage. These exploding cows count towards the first part of the Secret Cow Level unlock questline, which requires you to slay cows to find 3 key items that eventually lead to the Forlorn Hovel as well as the Secret Sheep Level.
Normally, this part of the questline is also the most time-consuming, but the Bell of the Bovine significantly cuts down on the grind, letting you finish the process in just a few minutes.

Once you acquire the amulet from Moophisto, you can start working on the questline for the 3 key items, which are:
- Musty Tome from cows in Scosglen
- Intricate Metallic Fragment from cows in Dry Steppes
- Bloody Wooden Shard from cows in Hawezar
Simply equip the amulet, go to a zone in one of these 3 regions, and start attacking enemies to activate the Lucky Hit effect and summon exploding cows. If there is a Helltide active, it will speed up the process, as the higher density helps trigger more cows.
Eventually, the key item corresponding to that region will drop, and then you can go to the other regions and repeat the process for the rest of the key items.
After all 3 key items have been collected, go to the fountain in Ked Bardu and drop the items in the water to purify them.
This will let you click on the statues to receive a Strange Key.
The Strange Key unlocks the Forlorn Hovel in Scosglen.
Inside it, there are several cows that drop the Stamina Potion when slain, which is one of the items needed to unlock the Secret Cow Level.
The Forlorn Hovel is also required to access the Secret Sheep Level and acquire the Map of the Stars.
